On 17 March 2019, 13 Year 1 students of Higher Diploma programme of Medical and Health Products Management provided services at a public-private co-organised community event for women of 18 years old or above. The venue of the event was at the Community Centre at Ap Lei Chau on Hong Kong Island. Some students assisted in conducting survey on pharmacist’s community roles and health care voucher scheme. The rest of the group helped participants to check the bone density and other health examinations such as measurement of blood cholesterol. There were also lectures about women’s health issues. Our students have learned something new outside the classroom.
