Financial Assistance – Government Grants / Loans and others

Students may apply for financial assistance under the Government's Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP)* and / or the Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS)*.

 * Not applicable to the Diploma in Foundation Studies programme. Students of the Diploma in Foundation Studies programme can apply for the financial assistance via the Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme.

Continuing Education Fund (CEF)

  • Eligible to Hong Kong residents aged from 18 to 65 at the time of application.
  • Applicants should submit their applications AS SOON AS they have enrolled in and have paid for the tuition fee for a course on the reimbursable course list, application should be made BEFORE the course commences. Late applications will not be accepted by the Government.
  • A successful applicant may submit a maximum of 4 claims for reimbursement within 4 years from the date that the application was approved.
  • Each applicant is entitled to a maximum sum of HK$10,000.
