Studying in the College is never a regrettable decision. It is mainly due to the fabulous learning atmosphere. Most students whom I know show their immense interests in acquiring self-advancement. Moreover, professors and lecturers are professional in general and the workload is acceptable. Various means are provided for airing our opinions and comments which are often seriously considered. On the grounds of the above, I have a joyful experience in the College and so I am glad that I have made such a choice.

“Pursuing a career in personnel management is always my dream. I enjoyed studying the Associate Degree programme in "Human Resource Management and Development" at the HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College not only because it equipped me with knowledge, but also strengthened my self-esteem through different extra-curricular activities (e.g. Adventure-based activity, social and business etiquette etc.)”

Being a professional hotelier, both sufficient academic knowledge and practical job skills are essential, and this programme has given me a great opportunity to become one of the professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry. The lecturers in this programme used interactive teaching methods to enhance our analytical thinking and cultivate our working capability. Besides, they have extensive industrial experience, and shared many real life cases with us and these were truly valuable to our study. For my job internship, I worked in The peninsula Hong Kong for six months. This gave me a great chance to obtain precious experience of how to get along well with guests and colleagues.
