The two years of study in Higher Diploma in Medical and Healthcare Product Management has been very rewarding. “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” That’s why, studying this MHPM programme helped me discover many hidden opportunities in the world of science and medicine. Even though we are still tangled up in the pandemic, HPSHCC was able to provide us with a platform to enroll ourselves into virtual exchange programmes to perform voluntary works and apply the pharmacy dispensing skills. I was extremely frustrated and puzzled when I received my DSE results because studying in university was just a pie in the sky. Fortunately, I enrolled in the Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management at HPSHCC. This program is not only teaching academically, but also practically. It was grateful that I participated in the internship programme in a healthcare center and the two-week Taichung Chungshan Medical University study tour. The experiential learning enhanced my knowledge in radiography and the experience helped me better prepare myself to work in a real-world environment. I also want to thank all of my passionate lecturers and counselors who enable me to successfully articulate to the university at the end.

Due to my immaturity and inability to stand boredom, I had made a huge mistake of dropping out of school, and joined the work force. After having a taste of the harsh reality, I learned the importance of obtaining knowledge and qualifications, and hence decided to go back to school.
It was not easy in the beginning. I am grateful that HPSHCC gave me a second chance. Throughout my study here, I have enhanced my English proficiency and gained much knowledge on Psychology, and I have also participated in different extracurricular activities. My college life was fruitful which allowed me to be better in academics as well as my personal life.

I always have great interest in nursing field and I believed that studying the Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management programme would be a good start.
This programme taught us medical knowledge such as Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Pathophysiology which are very useful to further my study in the nursing field. Apart from studying, I have joined a study tour to Beijing and participated in an internship of medication management.
Besides, lecturers are very helpful and gave me very useful advice. My learning experience at HPSHCC was valuable and I am now well prepared for my study in the university.

The best place of the college was to offer different internship opportunities. I participated in the Macquarie Mentorship Programmes and went to the Macquarie Bank's headquarters for an internship. The mentor taught me how to work and other related professionalism, such as how to write resumes and build up personal brands. I believed that the knowledge we learnt was necessary for future. After studying two years at HPSHCC, I found myself became mature and future oriented. The goal of students was not only to get admitted to the university, but also understood what you can do after graduation. We should make good use of these two years to build up our career.
