“Throughout the previous semesters, I have no doubt learnt a lot.
Under the guidance of the professors, not only has our understanding of Social Sciences, such as Sociology and Psychology, deepened, our abilities of critical thinking, analytical skills and presentation techniques have also been greatly improved.
Besides, all the extra-curricular activities definitely broadened our horizons. The excursion to Pacific Coffee was a fine learning experience. We were given the opportunity to chat with foreigners and the staff there. We felt much more confident in our spoken English.
At the talk given by the Police, the negotiation specialists shared their experiences and fascinating cases with us. We had learnt various useful negotiation and communication skills.
Moreover, I was able to participate in the Beijing Olympics as a volunteer under the school’s recommendation. It was a once-in-a-life-time opportunity.”

My study in the Higher Diploma in Real Estate Management programme at the HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College has equipped me with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in real estate industry. I highly appreciate the learning mode in this programme which emphasises the integration of theoretical and practical contexts. During the past year, I was given an opportunity to acquire practical work experience in the Collateral Appraisal Department of Hang Seng Bank Limited. Through getting involved in this practical training, I have effectively enhanced my exposure to the property valuation profession and developed a better understanding of the application of various valuation methods in real practice. Such a valuable experience definitely enhanced my competitiveness in the property field.

“Studying for an Associate Degree, as perceived by some people, is the last choice. For me, I think choosing a suitable programme based on my ability and needs is better than following the tradition of studying Form 6. I am happy to have chosen the Associate Degree programme in “Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement” after my Form 5 graduation. I really learnt a lot and enjoyed the learning process in this programme in the past 3 years.”
I greatly enjoyed studying the Higher Diploma for Legal Executive at the College. I was particularly impressed by the way in which the law professors were so patient and attentive to our needs, while the programme staff were polite, diligent and professional throughout. As a result, I have acquired a wide-ranging and practical knowledge of the most important areas of law, which will serve me well in pursuing a legal career. I am proud to have been a part of this programme, and will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends in future.
