HPSHCC Community Barber Service Team is formed by a group of college students and lecturers, to provide voluntary hair-cut services to the elderly in the community.
On 17 January, 26 January and 2 February 2019, the team performed their first hair-cut service at Home for the Elderly cum Cherish Day Care Centre in Tai Kok Tsui, Eco-Home for the Senior cum Sunny Green Day Care Centre for the Senior and Comfort Court for the Senior cum Ever Green Day Care Centre for the Elderly. Folks at the centre are very satisfied with their new hair look and are looking forwarding to the Chinese New Year! All of the service team members found the experience meaningful and enjoyed the whole process.
