College Life

Location: Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai in Thailand 
Date: 9-15 Jan 2023

20 Students from our college took part in voluntary teaching to the children from Xiang Miao Chinese School, which is located in the rural area of Chiang Rai. Apart from the experience of voluntary teaching, our students also experienced harvesting and cooking dinner on their own. The students caught the sunrise at Doi Chang and exchanged experiences with the local university students.

The headmaster of Xiang Miao Chinese School used the song “ 張馳 (校長): 帶你去旅行” as the school anthem to represent his goal of creating the opportunity for his students to leave the rural area through education. Apart from broadening our horizons, the student’s participation in voluntary teaching gives motivation to the vision of the headmaster.
