Year 2 students of the Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management programme have visited the Pharmacy Department of Hong Kong Adventist Hospital on 14 Nov and 28 Nov 2013. The Pharmacy Director Mr. Patrick Leung, the Senior Pharmacist Ms. Victoria Chan and the Pharmacist Ms. Edwina Yung introduced their unique Unit Dose 2D Barcode inpatient drug dispensing system while the Senior Dispenser Ms. Fion Chan showed to our students the "clean room” facilities that are used to perform aseptic drug dispensing. This was an eye-opening experience to the students and their knowledge of drug dispensing has been broadened as a result.
