Major Duties
The appointee will be required to:
- administer day-to-day operation of sub-degree programmes;
- coordinate College-wide events and course scheduling;
- manage academic related projects;
- provide secretariat support to committees;
- prepare a range of documents (including reports, notices, and minutes); and
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
Candidates should have/be:
- a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in the higher education sector;
- initiative, meticulous, and able to work independently and as part of a team;
- strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills;
- proactive and able to work collaboratively with people at all levels;
- high proficiency in Microsoft Office; and
- very good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, medical benefits, and staff development sponsorship. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract for up to two years. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
