As I did not obtain good results in the National College Entrance Examination, I chose a challenging path - to study in Hong Kong at HPSHCC. Facts have proved that I have made the right choice. At present, I have achieved my goal, which was an unattainable dream for me two years ago. Thanks to the lecturers of HPSHCC. They are always patient in solving problems of my studies. Also, I need to thank the counsellors of Student Development Resource Centre. They always concern about me, no matter my troubles in academic studies or daily life. Lastly, thank you to HPSHCC for giving me the opportunity and platform to pursue my dream!

These years passed so quickly, I couldn’t make it through without all the support from the teachers and the student counsellors of Student Development Resource Centre (SDRC). HPSHCC offers a variety of career and learning opportunities. The summer internship enriched my learning experience in the field of business and enhanced both of my soft and hard skills, which are crucial to any business endeavour. Thanks to the College, I have equipped myself for future challenges and am one step closer to my dream.

Time flies! It has been my last year in HPSHCC. In the past two years, I gained lots of valuable experience in HPSHCC. I joined the UK Business Tour and became a Student Ambassador. These activities helped me to become a mature and confident person. Also, thanks to the lecturers and counsellors of Student Development Resource Centre (SDRC), they are very kind, patient and friendly. They helped me a lot and solved my difficulties in academic issues and the concerns about my future study.

After taking DSE, I thought I was a loser who was unable to get admitted to university. After completing the 2-year higher diploma programme, I found that the time I spent in HPSHCC was not in vain. If you have perseverance, it is not difficult to progress to the university.

People generally think that sub-degree studies is not useful. In my opinion, my two years of study at HPSHCC gave me the opportunity to realise my interests and goals.
The College provided us with a good study environment. Our Principal, Vice Principal and the college lecturers were friendly and sincere. They all gave us support and encouragement. Furthermore, the student counselors offer useful advice on further studies and problems that I faced. Without their support, I am not who I am today.
