The Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management taught me a lot of medical knowledge, from medical and laboratory equipment, natural health products to anatomy. These helped me to build a solid foundation in my studies and prepared myself for career development. The lecturers were willing to help me in solving the problems in my studies. They taught me patiently and advised me on further studies and career. This programme also allowed me to join a summer internship at the Hong Kong Hospital Authority and to participate in a study tour to Taichung Chung Shan Medical University Hospital. I now have a better understanding about hospital operation, duties of a nurse and the daily works at the Department of Pharmacy and Clinical Laboratory. These experiences are invaluable to my future career.

The learning experience at HPSHCC was wonderful. The comfortable College campus, relaxing learning atmostphere and those enthusiastic lecturers were the main motivations for study. Moreover, the Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management programme equipped students with the solid foundations for further study. In the past one year, I have learned much in area of medical science. I joined the College’s V-circle and its related voluntary services, which my communication and interpersonal skills have been greatly enhanced. During summer, I had an opportunity to work as a summer intern in the Pro-Cardio Heart Diseases and Stroke Prevention Centre. Moreover, I participated the study tour to Taiwan Chung Shan Medical University Hospital, to learn and study in the Department of Pharmacy and Clinical Laboratory. In the Department of Pharmacy, I observed the daily dispensing operations and learned how to educate the patients to take drugs properly, as well as to follow the drug administration thoroughly. All the invaluable experiences are useful for my university study and future career development.

The past one year that I have spent at HPSHCC was fruitful and enjoyable. I had an opportunity to learn different medical knowledge which laid the solid foundations of my future study. The lecturers explained all difficult concepts clearly and answered students’ questions patiently. Moreover, the programme provided a chance for me to join an internship programme, which I had a clearer picture about my future careers development.
