The HPSHCC Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 29 March 2019 to recognise students’ achievements in their studies and social services, or their talent in specific areas. A total of 33 students were awarded the scholarships donated by Po Leung Kuk Directors et al this year, including 29 students in Academic Merit Scholarships and four in Service Awards.
Besides, three students were selected for the SYMPH Study Abroad Scholarships with a maximum of HK$80,000 sponsorship for attending summer courses at universities in the UK or South Korea. Two students of Higher Diploma in Sport and Recreation Management and Higher Diploma in Sport Coaching and Sport Performance respectively were awarded the Centenary Ltd Sports Scholarships for demonstrating sporting prowess.
HPSHCC has also established scholarships for newly admitted students with outstanding results in HKDSE. There were 34 new students admitted in 2018 receiving this scholarship.
