Students of Higher Diploma Programme in Tourism and Events Management participated in the “Walk for Nature” on 4 and 5 November 2017 at Mai Po Nature Reserve. Students explored and learned about the operation of a natural tourist attraction in Yuen Long, Hong Kong. The walking route led students through bird hides, fish ponds, reed beds and gei wai. Besides, interactive game stands were set-up along the route which provided entertaining yet educational challenges for our students to enjoy Mai Po’s breathtaking scenery as well as to learn the biodiversity of this wetland reserve.
