College Part-time Lecturer (Division of Health) (Ref# AHRC/pt/26-01)

 

Major Duties

The appointee(s) will be responsible for teaching designated courses in the Division of Health and performing teaching-related duties on a part-time basis during day-time on weekdays, subject to timetable arrangements. Subject areas include:

a. Anatomy and Physiology

b. Communication Skills in Health Care / Professional Communication

 

Requirements

Candidates should have/be: 

- a relevant Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in Health Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or a related discipline; 

- (for teaching Communication Skills in Health Care) a strong background in Social Work, Counselling, or related professions, with demonstrated experience in therapeutic or professional communication, interviewing skills, and/or casework supervision; and 

- (for teaching Anatomy and Physiology) relevant academic and/or professional training in Biomedical Sciences, or related health disciplines, with solid subject knowledge at Higher Diploma level.
