College Life

I will always remember my time while studying at HPSHCC. The College offers a top-notch learning atmosphere and internship opportunities. The lecturers are very friendly and welcoming to support and help us. The SDRC counsellors are willing to assist us with higher education matters. I am highly appreciative of their unwavering support.

Studying for a sub-degree program may be challenging, but if you never try, you will never know what you are capable of. All you need to do is work hard and have faith in yourself!

The past two years at HPSHCC were fruitful and filled with great experiences and memories with my classmates and lecturers. I kept working hard to achieve my goals. Whether it be sports or studies, hard work always pays off in some forms, the world is full of opportunities but it is up to you to take advantage of them.

The programme has broadened my horizon and given me a chance to pursue my interest. Although I did not have an impressive academic record, HPSHCC has provided much support and I have improved and benefited a lot from lecturers’ teaching and guidance. The professional practice experience allowed me to apply my knowledge in the field and gained more hands-on experience. After  two years of hard work, I am going to enter into The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Studying in HPSHCC is an unforgettable experience to me. The College provides quality teaching environment. Lecturers are very kind and friendly. Also, counsellors of Student Development Resource Centre are willing to help us on issues regarding further studies. I am so grateful to have their full support.

You may think that it is frustrating to study for a sub-degree programme. However, if you try your best during the college years, entering into a local university is not just a dream!

Believe in yourself, and work hard!

HPSHCC is where I met classmates and lecturers from different countries. I would like to thank them for helping me out in difficult situations throughout the year. I would also like to thank the SDRC team in refining my personal statement and guiding me on how to apply for universities.

I am glad that I have a group of good classmates. They are very supportive and are willing to help each other. The strong learning atmosphere is my motivation to go to school. The SDRC team is always happy to answer questions from students. They are our strong backing. I often share my troubles in academic studies or applying for universities.

I was glad that I studied at HPSHCC. Apart from the classroom lessons, the College provided students with a lot of outside classroom learning opportunities. For example, we participated in an internship and worked as a gymnastics assistant in summer. The programme also arranged visits to industry related institutions  What's more?  I joined the  tour “Destination Himalaya” and climbed the Himalayas in June 2018. It was an incredible experience that I cannot gain in places other than HPSHCC. This Higher Diploma programme is definitely a stepping stone for me to progress to the university and help me to pursue my dreams!
