On-site learning is an effective way of learning for subjects related to medical and health. For this reason, the Year 2 students of Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management programme have visited the Physiotherapy Department of Tang Shiu Kin Hospital on 19 and 27 November 2015 for on-site learning experience. Department Manager, Mr. Michael Chung and Senior Physiotherapist, Ms. Annie Au, introduced the department and explained its operation to the students. They also arranged tours for students to visit various facilities and the equipment. In addition, the students had the opportunity to measure their own health status by using the Body Composition Analyzing Machine. Students were all excited with the experience. This was undoubtedly an eye-opening learning tour. The students have gained a better understanding of what physiotherapy is about and how it contributes to patients in their recovery from injuries.
