The HPSHCC Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 26 March 2018 to recognise students’ achievements in their studies and social services, or their talent in specific areas. A total of 38 students were awarded with the scholarships donated by Po Leung Kuk Directors et al this year, including 32 students in Academic Merit Scholarships, five in Service Awards, and one in Overseas Exposure Scholarship.
Besides, there were three students selected for the SYMPH Study Abroad Scholarships with a maximum of HK$80,000 sponsorship for attending a summer course in the universities of the UK or the US. Two students of Higher Diploma in Sport and Recreation Management demonstrating sporting prowess were awarded the Centenary Ltd Sports Scholarships this year. HPSHCC has also established scholarships for new admittees with outstanding results in HKDSE. 15 students admitted in 2017 received this scholarship.
