In Sem 1, 2016-17, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited invited the Higher Diploma programme in Nutrition and Food Management (NFM) of our college to help organise the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Day 2016. The event has been successfully held for years with 5,000 CLP staff, contractor and their families to join, aiming to promote the SHE in the our daily life. Year 2 students from NFM programme applied the nutrition knowledge they learnt from class to design a number of creative booth games and exhibition boards. On the day of event, they promoted the nutrition message to the participants through the booth games they created.
Throughout the whole process, our students acquired invaluable experience, which will surely help their future studies and career. At the end, the effort of students were paid off when they saw the smiling faces of the participants.
