In the 1st semester of 2015, students of the Higher Diploma programme in Nutrition and Food Management have been recruited by United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service (UCN) to participate in a new nutrition promotion project - LOVE VEG@ Workplace Program. Students learnt to promote fruits and vegetables intake in different companies. They helped to conduct 3 nutrition workshops, including salad making, hydroponic planting and food tasting, for each participated company. The project aimed to increase employees’ knowledge and awareness on eating 5-color fruits and vegetables. The programme provided an opportunity for the students to work with dietitians and deepen their understanding in the industry of nutrition promotion.
