Students of Higher Diploma in Nutrition and Food Management programme and Higher Diploma in Food Health and Business Management visited Calbee Hong Kong Factory in Tseung Kwan O on 2 Nov 2015. The staff introduced the production process of potato chips and other snacks to our students. Students visited the storage area of fresh potatoes, the production line and the modern packaging machinesin the factory. By visiting the food plant, students had the opportunity to observe the application of quality control techniques they have learnt in lectures. Students also had a chance to conduct food tasting of freshly-made potato chips. It was a memorable experience for them.
