Students of Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management Programme were on a 14-day attachment programme to Tajen University in Taiwan from 15 to 28th July 2018. They visited Department Pharmacy in Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital and Nursing home at Ping Tung Branch of Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital. Heads of Departments lectured our students on the medicine electronic management system and healthy aging in Taiwan. Students also visited Joben Biomedical and Timing Pharmaceutical Companies. The operation managers introduced to the students of the Chinese herbal extraction techniques, quality assurance and control. Students were given lectures and laboratory practices on pharmacy skills and chemical analysis in Tajen University.
Students were given lectures and practice on dispensary skills and basic nursing practices including neonatal care, muscular injection, creative art therapy and admission assessment etc. These learning experiences inspired students on their studies and careers.
