HPSHCC students from the Higher Diploma in Accounting and Higher Diploma in Business Management programmes recently participated in a two-week UK Business Study Tour. During the tour, they had the opportunity to visit a variety of businesses, including the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London, where they learned about the operations, culture, and management practices of foreign companies. By participating in activities arranged by different companies, they were able to gain firsthand experience of the daily work of professionals and obtain valuable advice about their future careers from industry experts.
In addition, the students also had an academic programme at the University of Hull, where they experienced the learning style and student life in the UK. They attended interactive lectures covering Accounting, Management, Marketing, Psychology, and various personal development skills. They also had the chance to interact with local students at the university and travel to different cities around England to experience the local culture. This tour has provided the students with valuable industry-specific knowledge and experience, and has helped to develop their global perspectives, which will be useful for their future studies and careers.
