Programmes

HPSHCC students from the Higher Diploma in Accounting and Higher Diploma in Business Management programmes participated in a two-week UK Business Study Tour from 7 June to 23 June 2024. During the tour, students had an academic programme at the University of Hull, where they experienced the learning style and student life in the UK. They attended interactive lectures covering Accounting, Marketing, Personal Branding and AI. Besides, they also had different excursions to nearby cities, including Oxford and York, to explore local culture and heritage.

In London, students visited a vast variety of businesses and organisations, including Lexington Communications, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London and International Maritime Organization, where they learned about the operations, culture, and management practices of foreign companies through the interactive activities and gained valuable advice about their future careers from the industry professionals.

This tour has provided our students with valuable industry-specific knowledge and experience, developed their global perspectives and improved their interpersonal skills, which will be useful for their future studies and careers.
