On the journey of learning, encountering failures is common, but it is crucial to remain focused on your objectives. The challenge lies in employing effective methods and having the willingness to implement them. I have achieved success by adhering to this approach.

Mentorship here was the best part of my studies. My course lecturers often shared their expertise in rehabilitation, and when working alongside healthcare professionals in placements, I learned how to deal with patients from different sociocultural backgrounds and health conditions. I was blessed with rich opportunities to leverage social support as well ‐ ranging from partaking in stroke outreach teams to bridging students' voices with college stakeholders as a student ambassador. The support from all of my supervisors and teammates transformed me from feeling like a deer in the headlights to someone who can confidently coordinate student-led events.
