Studying at HPSHCC is a good chance to equip yourself for the future. At the beginning, it was challenging for me to adapt to College learning because the lectures were conducted in English. Through a lot of written assignments and presentations, my English has improved significantly. The valuable internship opportunity has enhanced my social network. The lecturers and counsellors are very nice and patient in giving advice. I have enjoyed studying at HPSHCC in the past two years.

This programme provides students with practical knowledge and a valuable internship in the sport and recreation industry. This soft-knowledge has equipped me to be more competent for further studies or careers. Lastly, my communication and leadership skills have been greatly improved through working with different classmates on presentations and assignments.

I have learnt valuable specialist knowledge and gained the practical skills for my future studies or career developments. Lecturers are friendly and helpful. They were more than willing to share their personal experiences, assisting us to identify our goals. Moreover, they provided many professional opinions about our future plans. During the past 2 years, students had the opportunity to take part in the summer internship, in which we had the chance to work in reputable sport or recreation organisations. The internship programme has explored my horizon and equipped me with rich practical working experiences. To share with all students who would like to enroll in this programme, “you reap what you sow”, with your hard work and the resources provided by the College and the programme, you would not be far from your dream.

The failure in public exam made me depressed. Fortunately, the College gave me another opportunity to achieve my dream. My choice to study in the College was absolutely correct and my college life was very fruitful. Different lecturers and counsellors helped me a lot and they made me feel like home. Besides, the program is consisted of both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, which includes an internship at different sport and recreation agencies during summer. This provided us with valuable and practical experience useful for our future study and career.

I would say the College provides all students a second chance. In here, if you have strong determination and commitment to get into university, you will succeed with the help from the College. Since many lecturers here are professional and helpful, they are always willing to offer help when we encounter any difficulties. The well-equipped facilities in campus also aid my study. I particularly like the comfortable library and it assists me concentrates on my revision even for a long time during the examination period.

Having been a student in the College in the past 2 years, learning is no longer boring. With a large variety of subjects offered, I can study what I am interested in. The learning process is very similar that of universities which helps us to adapt to the learning atmosphere in the university after graduation.
