On 30 March, 2014 afternoon, several Year 1 students of Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management programme provided service at the 2014 World Health Day Carnival held at Whampao. They worked at the booth of the Hong Kong Pharmacists Union and assisted in conducting survey of passersby on traveling medicine. They also engaged in promoting the concept of “travel medicine” to those people. This was a precious chance for them to learn about certain health issues and to meet pharmacists and other health care professionals. Although it was a rainy day, the students had an enjoyable and rewarding afternoon.
