After studying at this College, my self-confidence has improved significantly. The lecturers are genuinely dedicated to teaching and truly enjoy interacting with students.
Before joining, during my secondary school years, I often felt insecure, and my academic performance was not widely recognised. However, after entering this College, the lecturers supported me by guiding us step by step in developing effective learning methods. In class, I actively take notes, and at home, I review them consistently to ensure I can keep up with the course content. With their guidance and my steady effort, I gradually regained my confidence. Eventually, I received offers from two universities.

Studying the Higher Diploma in Applied Intelligent Technologies has been a truly meaningful journey. When I first enrolled, I was not sure if I could manage the challenges, but the programme quickly gave me a strong foundation in computer applications.
The lecturers played a huge role. They were not only experts in their fields but also incredibly kind and approachable. Whenever I struggled with assignments, they guided me with both academic support and advice on preparing for university studies. Their encouragement boosted my confidence and reminded me that I was not facing this path alone.
Looking back, I’m proud of my progress, and I believe this programme has opened the door to my future.

I strongly recommend students who are interested in hotel management to enroll at HPSHCC. The campus offers a neat and comfortable learning environment in a convenient location, making it an ideal place to study. The programme also includes a six-month internship, during which the College arranges suitable placements for students. This allows us to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop a deeper understanding of the daily operations of hotels.
I had the opportunity to undertake my internship at Regent Hong Kong. Throughout the internship, the lecturers were proactive in following up on students’ progress and learning experiences. The College and its staff are highly supportive, providing guidance and professional advice to every student, which has helped us take steady steps towards our career goals.

“Because we fall, the climb must be our destination.” When we look back at our past selves in the mirror, what shines the brightest are all our endeavors — the ebbs and flows that shape who we are today. Even in failure, there is much for us, as passionate students, to learn from and persevere through in our academic journey.
I never gave up on my academic journey after transitioning to the Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management from HKDSE. Whether in academic pursuits or the development of practical skill sets, I broadened my horizons by acquiring a vast amount of knowledge, along with soft skills that support my practical capabilities. The curriculum of the programme is highly specialised, featuring biomedical subjects such as microbiology and pathophysiology, as well as pharmaceutical topics, including drug action and pharmaceutics. Moreover, I had ample opportunities to further hone my skills through an internship as well as practical laboratory work. Overall, the two-year programme was a very fruitful experience.
If time were a flower, then studying would be the nutrients that cultivate its growth. With time, it would bloom into an elegant plant, symbolising our blossoming future — reaching for the moon and weaving through the clouds.

Throughout my two years at HPSHCC, I gradually transformed from someone who was uncertain about my future into someone who had found a clear direction. Not only did the College provide abundant academic resources, but it also offered valuable opportunities for overseas study tours. What impressed me most was the chance to attend classes at a local university during the study tour, visiting neuroimaging and sleep laboratories, and exchanging ideas with local professors. This valuable experience not only deepened my understanding of the applications of psychology but also broadened my horizons and enhanced my way of thinking.
In addition, one of the most precious aspects of my two years at the College was meeting a group of classmates and friends who shared similar aspirations. They made me deeply realise that I was not alone on this journey of pursuing my dreams.

For me, studying the Higher Diploma in Surveying and Property Management was a great challenge and required strong determination. As a mature student, I chose to return to campus after working for a while, so I had to balance factors such as family, academic performance and financial burden. Fortunately, with the support of my family, I have been able to persevere until now.
The programme content deepened my understanding of the surveying industry. What impressed me most was the application of land law, which helped me understand the uses of different types of land, as well as the key considerations when buying and selling properties. It was truly eye-opening. I am also very grateful for the guidance and support from all the lecturers. They often used a wide range of academic references to explain the course content, which benefited me immensely.
In addition, I would like to thank the counsellors at the College’s Student Development Resources Centre (SDRC). Through their counselling services and wellness activities, they showed genuine care for us and greatly relieved the academic pressure I had accumulated over time.
Lastly, I would like to encourage my fellow schoolmates: learning is a lifelong journey. Even if you did not achieve your desired results in the HKDSE, or if you are returning to campus after working like me, your efforts will eventually pay off as long as you are willing to work hard. Mindset determines everything.
