There are different paths to enter the universities. Do not lose your confidence because of unsatisfactory DSE results.
Take me as an example. I decided to study at HPSHCC, an alternative path to get my university degree. During the past two years of studying the associate degree programme, I had more time to strengthen my foundation, including language skills, which facilitated my articulation to university.
The college life of a sub-degree student is similar to that of a university fellow. You can also find a group of good friends whom you can relay on and fight together towards the same goal, work hard together to fulfill your dream. Believe in yourself! You can make it!

I felt immense gratitude to HPSHCC for giving me a chance of studying at this college. In the past year, the College provided me with comprehensive facilities and various experience of learning which assisted me in consolidating my academic foundation and preparing for the future challenge at the University.
More importantly, I am also grateful that my lecturers are always helpful whenever I have difficulties in my studies. Besides, I am fortunate to meet my study partners with whom we strived to pursue our academic goals.

Studying at HPSHCC for the past two years has been a significant milestone in my life as I am strengthened holistically.
The programme has provided me a solid foundation in psychology and academic research. Besides, the learning atmosphere at HPSHCC is positive. If you are able to find friends who share similar goals as in achieving good results, you would be more motivated and discover that time passes real quick.
I was also exposed to different learning opportunities from extracurricular activities such as participating in the college volunteering team for ex-mentally impaired people. I have learned more about their needs mentally, which allowed me to investigate in those areas further.

I am so glad that I received numerous supports from my classmates and lecturers. They helped me a lot whenever I had difficulties. In addition, the learning environment in HPSHCC is really positive and encouraging. Some people may think that students who failed to get good grades in DSE are losers, I beg to differ. As long as you don't give up and keep doing the best that you can, I believe you will achieve your goal.

The best place of the college was to offer different internship opportunities. I participated in the Macquarie Mentorship Programmes and went to the Macquarie Bank's headquarters for an internship. The mentor taught me how to work and other related professionalism, such as how to write resumes and build up personal brands. I believed that the knowledge we learnt was necessary for future. After studying two years at HPSHCC, I found myself became mature and future oriented. The goal of students was not only to get admitted to the university, but also understood what you can do after graduation. We should make good use of these two years to build up our career.
