I chose to do Psychology in my associate degree is because Psychology helps to develop deeper understanding about the society as well as the ability to use English. In these two years, there were lots of difficulties and pressure under studying. Yet, thanks for the helps of lecturers and classmates, I got fairly good grades and finally received the offer of Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Year 1. During these two years, I am lucky that I had found my goal. Lastly, here are some words to those junior students, “regardless of which topic it is, if you put all your efforts and fully engaged in it, you can beat it.

Thanks to studying an associate degree, I was given a comprehensive view towards Social Science. All the lecturers teaching psychology are experienced, which facilitated our learning by sharing some real life cases handled by them in their careers. On top of this, I highly appreciated that the classes always maintained a good learning atmosphere. Most classmates are active learners which motivated me to work hard and engage in in-class activities. I have gained much more than expected during these two years.

What I have gained in this college is unexpectedly tremendous. I found my lifelong study goals and motivations through studying the psychology programme here as the lectures are fascinating and the teachers are inspiring. Besides, I am so lucky to be given a lot of opportunities by the college to enjoy different experiences, such as service tours and student ambassador schemes. These experiences are crucial for me to develop as a better person. One thing I must mention is the SDRC in this college, the Student Counsellors are supportive and I feel like I was never walking alone in these two years.
