Teachers of our programme shared a lot of their own experiences in the industry during the lessons. They were pleased to answer our questions about projects or assignments in detail after the lessons. They also gaveus good recommendation and suggestions. The programme gave me the chance to be a trainee in the Peninsula which was a valuable experience for me. I have enriched my knowledge in the hotel industry and learned the basic operation procedures.

In these two years at HPSHCC, I was blessed with opportunities to meet good mentors and peers, who have inspired me a lot to pursue my further studies in hotel stream. The six-month hotel internship allowed students to work in a real hotel environment. All practical knowledge that I have acquired during placement are the most important assets in my life.

The programme covers a wide range of tourism and hotel industry related courses, giving students a better understanding of the tourism and hospitality field. The 6-month internship was a valuable experience which helped me find out my interests and goals. The lecturers are very patient and professional, they motivated me to learn. I am glad I have made good friends and I enjoyed my study at HPSHCC.

The programme has greatly been designed for preparing students to work or further study. I learnt more about the hotel industry from the 6-month internship at the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel. During the internship, I could practice the skills that learnt from lectures and understand more about the current situation of the industry.
