College Life

Frankly speaking, being matriculated by the university is not solely because of my hard work  but also the  quality teaching of instructors at HPSHCC. They are passionate, responsible and knowledgeable who are willing to beacon and answer our questions enthusiastically. The course syllabus also helped me  prepare myself well for the university studies. All in all, I considered my college life at HPSHCC  very fruitful, and I must thank all the things that the College had given me.

The 2-year study at HPSHCC was not easy. I have encountered difficulties about my studies. Fortunately, our College Lecturers  offered me help to go through the difficult times. Also, counselors from Student Development and Resource Centre provided useful information about Non-JUPAS. That really helped me to prepare well for admission interviews. I am truly grateful that I chose HPSHCC for it provided me with a supportive, caring environment for learning.

I always have great interest in nursing field and I believed that studying the Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management programme would be a good start.
 
This programme taught us medical knowledge such as Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Pathophysiology which are very useful to further my study in the nursing field. Apart from studying, I have joined a study tour to Beijing and participated in an internship of medication management.

Besides, lecturers are very helpful and gave me very useful advice. My learning experience at HPSHCC was valuable and I am now well prepared for my study in the university.

During my two years of studying at HPSHCC, I participated in different activities. For example, I joined the Student Ambassador scheme and participated in a study tour to Korea. I met new friends and enlarged my social circle. Furthermore, I felt at ease when chatting with foreign students for it improved my oral English. Although my DSE results were not satisfactory, I did not give up. Eventually, I am admitted to the university. I wanted to share that “all roads lead to Rome” - there are different means for you to achieve your goal.

People generally think that sub-degree studies is not useful. In my opinion, my two years of study at HPSHCC gave me the opportunity to realise my interests and goals.

The College  provided us with a good study environment.  Our Principal, Vice Principal and the college lecturers were friendly and sincere. They all gave us support and encouragement. Furthermore, the student counselors offer useful advice on further studies and problems that I faced. Without their support, I am not who I am today.
