College Life

I believed that the professional knowledge of nutrition-related science learnt at HPSHCC has the level similar to that of university, and the learning attitudes taught by the tutors here would greatly help to confront various obstacles in future studies. Besides, the social workers are willing to share their experiences and concrete opinions towards your questions  whatever they are academic or personal. If you are struggling withyour future planning, and you wish to enter your dream university, and pursuing more knowledge in biological and nutritional science, HPSHCC is an opportunity for you to turn your dream come true.

Lecturers in this college put a lot of effort to help students in their study. Also, they have given me invaluable advice about social and business innovations, which would be very helpful in my future plan to start a business.

I am grateful to have studied here, which built  my foundational  understanding  onsports field. This programme has provided us with professional and practical knowledge, including outdoor activities and summer internship in different sport and recreation organisations. All  these remarkable experiences have broadened our horizon and given us opportunities to participate in the real workplace. HPSHCC is no doubt a good place to let students learn more and it has provided us with a stepping stone to our future.

It is incredible that I can be given an opportunity to share my experience here. This programme provides basic knowledge of health science which helps me prepare for the healthcare industry and develop my future career. In the last two years, I have taken part in the Summer Student Attachment Programme organised by Hospital Authority and the Taichung Chungshan Medical University internship training programme. These are valuable opportunites for me to accumulate out-of-classroom experience.

Time flies and it has already been another two years. Studying here in HPSHCC has not only equipped me with academic knowledge, but also the camps, sports tournaments and inter-programme  gatherings which have enabled me to relax from the intense and stressful learning life while constantly enlarging my social network. Thanks HPSHCC for the guidance and cultivation in these two past years. These all have shaped me into the better one today.

In these two years, not only do I focus on my study, but I also joined many activities such as voluntary service, business competition, and internship. These have strengthened my communication and collaboration skills. The Counsellors have helped me a lot in understanding my own strengths and weaknesses. I really appreciate the things the College has done for us.

Throughout this two-year study journey, I have definitely gained a lot. The quality of my programme is beyond question, and my proficiency in psychology has been extensively solidified. The learning experiences at HPSHCC have allowed me to realise my potentials, and sharpened my leadership and interpersonal skills.

Since the teaching style of the Higher Diploma Programme is similar to that in university, it is a good chance to build a good foundation for study. Besides, the programme also enhances my Chinese and English oral presentation skills.

My life at HPSHCC was memorable and fruitful. The HD equips me with knowledge and skills in property management and surveying. Lecturers were undoubtedly professional. They have shared with us their practical experience in this field and are patientin answering our questions.
