STUDENT SHARING

江卓霖 Kong Cheuk Lam
I was an aircraft maintenance technician for many years before entering HPSHCC. My income rapidly decreased because of COVID-19 and I started to consider if there are any alternative pathways for my career, so I decided to leave my role and chose Accounting and Financial Planning as my major.
The amplitude of programme structure, well-equipped College facilities and supportive lecturers brought me the key to the university I longed-for. Therefore, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to lecturers who helped me to pursue my dream.

Sometimes failure is a blessing in disguise.
My failure in the public examination drove me to enroll in this College. Over the past two years, I was grateful to have met patient lecturers and caring schoolmates. They gave me a wealth of new knowledge in psychology and made my learning journey less lonely. The most beautiful scenery of this College was not the tall buildings outside the windows, but the passionate teachers and the determined schoolmates. If it weren't for my past failure, I wouldn't have had the fortune of meeting them.
Here is a message for you who may be experiencing setbacks: “Though it is too late to change the past, there is still time to shape the day to come." Regardless of the past, as long as you have the will, you can catch up with everything.
