After 2 times sat for HKDSE exam, I cannot study at university. My friend suggested me to study Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management at HPSHCC. I gain the fundamental knowledge on medical and pharmaceutical sciences such as Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Drug action and Use of Medicines and etc.
Not only can the programme lay a solid foundation for me as an university student, but also provide extra-curriculum activities and internships. I took the internship position in Pro-Cardio Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Centre and I have had overseas learning programme in Chung Shan Medical University Hospital in Taiwan last summer. Through the internships, I can develop an in-depth understanding of the duties of nurses, for examples, and improve my level of expertise. Thanks to all of my lecturers, I can easily understand the lectures and get clear goals.

I enrolled on this programme at HPSHCC mainly because of its high articulation rate. The lecturers were professional and they provided advice on further study that helped me overcome hard times. I also took a 6-month placement at a local 5-star hotel. The experience enhanced my knowledge in hospitality and I could progress to a related bachelor’s degree programme at PolyU.
