The Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management is a very unique programme. With the broad basic knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical sciences provided by the programme, students are provided with multiple articulation pathways, which we are eligible to apply for admission to different sciences or health-related programmes in the university. Moreover, the professional lecturers, well-designed curriculum and excellent learning environment have equipped me with a solid foundation for further study.

The programme is very practical. It certainly helps my future work and study. Harmonious relationship is established between students from different programmes. Lecturers teach not only during class time but also outside the classroom. They often encourage students to strive for their future goals. In addition, the College also offers different competitions and internships which allow students to apply their knowledge. The two-year college life really enriches my life.

The College provides students with a good learning environment and the programme structure allows non-accounting students to learn from basic accounting and build up our knowledge step by step. The programme team is very helpful and lecturers are so patient to answer our questions during classes and even outside class time. Lecturers always monitor our learning progress and help us to resolve difficulties by giving useful advices. I joined the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Business Case Competition in which we were asked to analysis the financial reports of Pak Fah Yeow. Through the competition, my analytical skills were enhanced. Lastly, I make many good friends who are energetic and positive.

It has also given me a valuable chance to meet new friends and study with them. HPSHCC’s Student Development Resources Centre (SDRC) hosts further study seminars frequently, guiding students through the university application process. I got a lot of useful information thanks to them.

2015 Gabriel is studying the Juris Doctor (JD) programme, a postgraduate law degree (Professional doctorate in law), at The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Studying the Higher Diploma for Legal Executives (HDLE) was a very important turning point in my life. Before I studied this programme I always thought legal studies is a field for the gifted or privileged students. The HDLE programme offered me the opportunity to enter the legal profession, even for students did not perform well in the public examination. Thanks to this programme, I am now studying a professional doctorate in law. The HDLE programme has reinstated my confidence and ignited my passion in serving the community as a legal professional. The courses provided me with the necessary skill sets and knowledge to work in the legal field. It is a great stepping stone for students seeking to pursue further legal studies or to enter the legal workforce. I would highly recommend the HDLE programme to anyone interested in studying law or starting a career in the legal profession.

During the past 2 years, students had the opportunity to take part in the summer internship, in which we had the chance to work in reputable sport or recreation organisations. The internship programme has explored my horizon and equipped me with rich practical working experiences.
