College Life

2-years college life in the College was really unforgettable and impressive. Fantastic lecturers, student counsellors and friends I met here made my life more colorful. Higher Diploma in Nutrition and Food Management does not only focus on the theories, but also provides a lot of practices for us to apply the knowledge and these made the course practical. The College provides many resources to their students that they can be academically successful. Many activities and study tours were also provided for us to join. Student counsellors put great efforts to help us to step into universities and pursue for our dreams. The College is a good choice for students who want to have further study in university.

I gained professional legal knowledge of different legal disciplines which turned into a strong knowledge foundation for my further study. Moreover, my critical thinking skills and also presentation skills were very much strengthened. My college life was especially memorable, as I met many good friends, with whom I would have a life-long friendship.

I am grateful for my time studying in the Higher Diploma for Legal Executives programme, which provided me with a solid academic foundation to pursue my tertiary legal studies. Excellent materials were provided by the College and subjects were attentively taught by professional lecturers. These made my studies easier and much efficient than expected. Further, lecturers are readily available whenever I wished to ask questions or, when I have doubts during revision. The general learning atmosphere was healthy and positive such that students collectively formed their study groups and I made many friends. There were plenty of reading and writing opportunities, such as legal writing classes that boosted my English proficiency. To sum up my experience I am delighted with my time here and it is really a wonderful post-secondary programme.

Throughout the two years of Higher Diploma programme, I had been working so hard to pursue my dreams, and now I can enjoy my fruits of labor happily. Although some people may not want to spend two more years for a seat in universities, I am glad that I made up my mind to have further study at the College, because, besides studying, I met a lot of good friends and lecturers there. Without their support and assistance, I would not have been able to succeed at all. We should grasp all the opportunities and trust ourselves in order to reach our goals. Then, the path in front of us will only lead to one final destination: success.

Thanks to the efforts of all dedicated lecturers, I had an unforgettable learning experience in the College. This programme provides students with the rudimentary knowledge of medicines and technical equipment in hospitals. Moreover, it offers students practical trainings in laboratory and summer interns to broaden our horizons. The College had truly led me to countless golden opportunities, paving the way for my future career in health care aspect.

I would say the College provides all students a second chance. In here, if you have strong determination and commitment to get into university, you will succeed with the help from the College. Since many lecturers here are professional and helpful, they are always willing to offer help when we encounter any difficulties. The well-equipped facilities in campus also aid my study. I particularly like the comfortable library and it assists me concentrates on my revision even for a long time during the examination period. 

My school life in the College has proven that I can still have better achievements. In the Higher Diploma in Business (Accounting and Financial Planning) programme, I made every effort for each assignment, report and examination. Although the life there was tough, my efforts finally directed me to a bright path. When I looked back, I would say that I had made a correct decision absolutely. Apart from competent lecturers, counsellors in the College can give us a clear direction for our future.

Studying at the College is definitely a whole new journey to me since the teaching and learning experience is so different from previous studies. The College offers numerous activities for students who want to further enhance their competencies and become an all-rounded person. What amazed me the most is the dynamic atmosphere during lectures in which lecturers assist you with their sophisticated knowledge and real life experience.

Studying at the College, I have experienced a completely different learning style. Throughout the past two years, We needed to learn as a team to finish the academic projects. Under the supports from the lecturers, my professional knowledge in business studies was strengthened, and the project experiences enabled me to meet a lot of friends. In addition, I was very proud to be one of the Student Ambassadors in the College. My coordination in the activities has broaden my horizon.

In this 2-year study, I have gained a lot of academic and non-academic experience. This programme has provided an excellent platform for students to learn the fundamental medical knowledge, such as pharmacology. We can develop our interest through different comprehensive subjects provided by the college, and choose the pathway that we desired. For me, higher diploma is not a sign of failure, but a cornerstone to expand my abilities and discover my aspiration. I appreciate the assistance provided by the lecturers and staff in the college throughout these two years.

Based on the interest on accounting profession, after attending the public examination, I aimed to pursue Higher Diploma in Business (Accounting and Accounting Technologies) programme where I achieved pleasing results. The programme offers an excellent combination of accounting knowledge and software applications, paving the way for the professional career. This College, serving as a diverse learning platform, strengthens our problem-solving skills, independent personality trait and interpersonal competencies through different kinds of college life.

In the past two years, I have learnt a lot from the College. I acquired the fundamentals of social science, which are important for me to pursue higher education. Life at the College is meaningful, I participated in a volunteer tour to Mainland China during the end of first semester. I also received precious opportunities to participate in editing the College magazine and serve as a student representative, which improved my leadership and communication skills. All these experiences have not only broadened my vision but have also shaped me to become more mature.
