"I have acquired comprehensive knowledge in the medical specialism. The programme also provided lots of opportunities on practical training. For example, I have learnt how to make ointment and syrup. In year 2, we even need to do a role play, imitating the process of patient counselling at a pharmacy. Although learning these hard and soft professional skills is sometimes challenging, I believe they would be very useful for further studies. Today, I am so glad that I have been eventually got an offer from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and I am so thankful to the College.
All in all, the programme has greatly enhanced my professional skills in the pharmaceutical field and got me well-prepared for further study in a related field at university."

"Studying at the College was a vibrant and vivid experience for me. Imagine, cooking in class and participating in different local volunteer schemes – all of these activities equipped me with a broadened horizon and a critical mindset. Apart from studying theories, practical skills and sharing were also emphasised.
Through the passion and dedication of the lecturers, we gained life-long studying skills, which in turn will help us greatly to resolve the many challenges and difficulties that await us in the near-future.
Aside from providing motivation and inspiration, the College also supported me vastly in both my academic and career range. Together with the enormous support of the Student Development Resource Centre and the experienced Counsellors, College life was never so easy, flat and most importantly, fun!”

The College has given me an opportunity to achieve my goals even after I struggled to gain a place at university due to unsatisfactory HKALE results. This programme is equipped with vivid teaching – both in theoretical knowledge and practical experience. This allows for a great learning atmosphere in which we are able to fully grasp the knowledge in this field of study. Additionally, the summer professional practice was provided for us to gain first-hand working experience. I understood the mode of operation in this industry by assisting the operation of a club house.

"When I first came into the College, I was full of worries. I chose Psychology purely out of interest, but I did not know if it was a right decision. I was not sure whether what I learn would really relate to my future or not. However, it was thanks to the effort of the thoughtful and patient lecturers that I now have a much clearer picture with regards to my goals in life.
Now when I look back, I am thankful to have the College equip me with the required skills in the field of Psychology. In this campus, it is not about one-way teaching-and-learning, but two-way interaction. The lecturers are approachable and always encourage the students to explore methods to their solutions. Not only can students benefit from the joy of learning, but they are also given lots of opportunities to take part in various extra-curricular activities and services. I am glad to have become one of the Student Ambassadors during my time at the College, as it strengthens my interpersonal skills and provides me a chance to contribute to the college. These experiences could hardly be found in elsewhere."

I think these personal traits are essential for succeeding in the university.
Moreover, my College life was meaningful and enjoyable. I have made lots of good friends. Lecturers and counsellors here are very supportive. Thanks for their help. I feel so fortunate that I have got offers from HKU and Poly U and have a chance to pursue a degree programme."
