HPSHCC offers two nutritional programmes which is not common in local tertiary institutions. The College provided students with various outside classroom learning opportunities. I always wanted to be a dietitian and these experiences strengthened my knowledge in nutrition and are useful for further studies.

My HKDSE result was unsatisfactory. I thought I would never study the Communication and Journalism programme at CUHK. HPSHCC gave me a second chance. I was finally admitted to my dream programme after studying for 2 years at HPSHCC. Keep your belief and do not give up on your dream.

Lecturers of HPSHCC gave us a lot of advice which strengthened my interest in the nursing field. Apart from professional teaching, HPSHCC also provided students with various field visits and seminars that allowed us to learn more about the health care industry. The programme mainly focuses on health care studies including fundamental concepts of human biology and basic pharmaceutics. With the help of teachers and friends in this College, I can study at the University of Hong Kong.

People always think that it is difficult for sub-degree students to articulate to a university . In my opinion, people should see AD or HD as a platform for students to build a solid foundation before taking up the university studies.
Public examination nowadays is not the only way to prove our abilities. We can find our goals at HPSHCC. With the encouragement and support from our lecturers, we experienced the best environment to learn and study.

My two years of study at HPSHCC were splendid which shaped me into a more competent individual not only academically, but personally. With tremendous support and care from lecturers and college counsellors, students were motivated to work hard. I stepped out of my comfort zone and had my time spent in the college memorably and enjoyably.
