Reviewing my 2-year study at the College, I would not say it is relaxing throughout all times, but I would not say it is tough either. Instead, it is one of the most memorable moments of my life. I still remember that anxious feeling I had when I first entered the College: worrying that I may not make friends, not being able to catch up with school work and was afraid my future may not go the way I want it to be. Now that I look back, I discover I did not only have buddies who can share each other’s deep feelings, lecturers who teach from their hearts and counsellors who always place student concerns as their top priority, but also knowledge and abilities that are useful in universities or even lifetime. With everyone’s support and encouragement, together with a do-my-best spirit on all assignments and presentations, my dream – entering a university that I have been longing for has come true.

The training on meeting deadlines of homework assignments and school projects has greatly improved my time management skills. I am grateful to be a part of the College where student needs are prioritised. Within these few years, I was exposed to many activities such as the singing of the College -- winning 1st and 2nd for duet and solo verse respectively. The opportunity gave me insight on my capabilities and was definitely one of my most unforgettable moments in my life! I am happy and proud to say that I have shared a memorable school experience with many amazing friends and College staff as well.

I had a great time at the College over the past two years. The teaching method here is similar to University, all students are required to take initiative to learn and become independent. Life at the College is very fruitful; there are several field trips and visits in my programme. Thus, there are summer exchange programmes and also different academic projects which have broaden my horizons. Moreover, studying social sciences trains students’ critical thinking.

Being an accountant is my career goal for ages. However, I did not have a chance to study accounting before being admitted to the College. In the past, I was so afraid that there would be a hard time coping with the accounting knowledge as I had not acquired any relevant concepts before. However, the curricular and syllabi were so well-designed that I could handle the concepts easily. Besides, the professional lecturers were able to explain each concept in a detailed way, which could be easily understood by students. Moreover, the College offered a wide variety of competitions for me to participate in. These competitions were considered as very valuable opportunities to let me apply the knowledge practically. They undoubtedly increased my competence as well as improved my communication skills. Lastly, the friends I met here are always supportive and treat me nicely. Attending lectures at the College is regarded as enjoyable for me that I would never regret.
